Sausage Making Class

 Come and make a batch of traditional hand made sausages from scratch using locally farmed pork, picking your own herbs and spices and learn the art of linking sausages.

Courses start in the morning and typically run for 2-3 hours, you also get to take home what you make at the end of the course.

 

There are 2 courses available

(please ensure you pick the correct one before booking)

 

BEGINNER - (No experience what so ever)

On this course we will run through the basics of traditional sausage making, talking about the equipment and ingredients needed to make sausages, using traditional methods to make your very own bangers using rusk and your choice of seasoning.

 

INTERMEDIATE - (Have some experience of sausage making)

On this course we will run through creating craft sausages, the importance of creating a natural bind and the emulsification process. 

We will also go through advanced cooking techniques in order to get the best out of your sausages (low & slow).
